Stay Informed November 2025

Message from the Practice Manager

As we move into November, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all our patients for their continued support and understanding throughout what has been a very busy autumn here at the practice.

With colder weather approaching, we encourage everyone to stay healthy by keeping up to date with seasonal vaccinations.

Our flu and COVID booster clinics are now well underway — please contact reception or book online if you haven’t yet had yours.

Autumn leaves

We’re also aware that this time of year can be challenging for many, especially with shorter days and rising costs. Our social prescribers are here to offer support and connect you with local community resources, so please don’t hesitate to ask if you need a little extra help.

Finally, I’d like to remind everyone that our online services are a convenient way to manage appointments, repeat prescriptions, and health queries — available 24/7 via our website or NHS app. Thank you once again for being part of our community practice. On behalf of the whole team, I wish you a healthy and positive month ahead.

Warm Regards, Jenny

Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. Spotting the signs could save your life. Do you know the symptoms?

Every year, nearly 10,000 people in the UK lose their lives to pancreatic cancer — the deadliest common cancer.

Sadly, half of the people diagnosed with this deadly disease will die within 3 months, and 93% will die within 5 years.

It strikes fast, hides behind ordinary symptoms, and too often goes unnoticed until it’s too late. Back pain, indigestion, weight loss, jaundice, changes to your bowel movements — signs that seem harmless and unconnected, but could be deadly.

This campaign exposes the truth: pancreatic cancer is a silent killer that doesn’t wait or discriminate. Recognising the symptoms early and acting fast could save your life, or someone else’s. When you know the signs, you have a chance to fight back against this deadly killer.
